About gistalt
Your goal playing gistalt is to accurately identify which patients are sick (requiring hospitalization or immediate interventions for stabilization) or not-sick (conditions that can be safely treated with outpatient follow-up).
gistalt games are simple and fun. You'll start with a stack of patient presentations including vital signs, laboratory results and imaging. Swipe each card left (for not-sick) or right (for-sick) to see the next question. At the end of the stack, review your responses and see your score. Your gistalt score specially gauges your ability to detect the most critically-ill patients and institute the treatments that will make a difference.
New questions are added regularly and don't require an app update.

Excellent format
Concise and realistic, relevant clinical scenarios to working in an ER. Would love a bigger deck of clinical scenarios, but this is great for a free app that isn’t tracking by you or trying to get you to buy things.

Love it!
Good, relevant, concise questions; love the “tindr” approach to sick/not sick; intuitive interface. My only feedback is that I wish there were more questions (which I see they’re working on) and I wish there was an option to not repeat questions that we’ve already seen (unless it’s designed to repeat mistakes, in which case... maybe I’m just a slow learner 😅). Anyways I love it! Great little app for an MS3 with an upcoming EM sub-I.
