About Here - Trained peer support
Here is a FREE App for teens aged 13-19 to get support from Trained Teen Advisors. The App is a safe and anonymous space where teens can freely speak to their peers about everyday issues and their overall mental health. Teen Advisors are trained to support their peers through a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, relationships, family issues, school and more. Teen Advisors are supervised by licensed mental health professionals.
Feel free to post on the App whenever you need support! Whether its 3am or 3pm, we want to hear what is on your mind. Though you are welcome to post throughout the day, Teen Advisors can only respond to posts between 5-10 pm PT daily. Our goal is to answer all posts within 24 hours and give you the best support possible! Please note, the App is NOT a message board and only Teen Advisors can respond to posts. If you are not ready to post, feel free to search topics that are on your mind and learn about what others are experiencing and what support they received.
Who are the Teen Advisors?
Teen Advisors are High School aged teens who care deeply about supporting their peers and normalizing mental health issues. To become a Teen Advisor, one must go through an extensive application and interview process. If accepted, teens must successfully complete a 50-hour peer support training. If you are interested in becoming a Teen Advisor, please visit hereapp.org to view upcoming training programs and eligibility.
