About Flarity

The app enables funders to set up funds. In addition to the usual information such as descriptions, criteria, fund scope, decision-maker groups, and voting mechanisms can also be defined. Applicants can submit their applications directly in the app, they will be notified as soon as a project is confirmed or rejected and can thus easily access funding and implement their projects with less stress.

Set up funds
Setting up a subsidy structure is greatly simplified for funding institutions: In addition to the title, description and web links, categories, keywords, periods and scope of the funding fund can be specified. It can also be determined which group (whether a small committee, an entire district, or any other reference group) decides on the allocation of funds. The decisive group can also vote digitally (More under 'Voting Mechanisms'). The entire financial process is also planned to be mapped via the app so that the administrative effort is minimized even more and at the same time the traceability of the funds allocated is guaranteed.

Submit applications
Applicants can find funding funds on the app and can submit their project applications directly in the app. You will be notified as soon as your application is accepted or rejected. If they are part of the decision-making group (optional), they can also vote for their application themselves (e.g. in a district fund). Fund management is also planned, with which the promised funds can be processed directly via the app (wallet).

Voting Mechanisms
We currently use a standard voting mechanism: quadratic voting. With this mechanism, decision-makers can not only vote yes or no, but also give weight to their preference. A configurable point system is established for this purpose. To put it simply: the more votes a project application receives, the closer the application comes to its funding goal. Further voting mechanisms are being planned.
