CAT QUEST II is a 2D open-world action-RPG set in a fantasy realm of cats and dogs. I really wanted to like this game as much as the first one, but alas I can’t. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a GOOD game. The graphics aren’t as good as the first one. There’s much more grinding to this game, even in “story mode”. The double tap to roll out of danger is its biggest flaw. Why? Because when you have a ranged weapon, like an elemental wand, you accidentally tap too fast and roll instead of attacking. If that could be tweaked somehow, this game would definitely be five stars. I’m still enjoying the game.
