Setup requires you to enable location services…. For a liter box… Neakasa claims that this is necessary for it to connect to your WiFi, which is insanely inaccurate. There are clearly Data Mining practices going on here, so assume your information is being collected and sold to 3rd party companies.

Override clean button

There needs to be an override clean button if the box thinks it is full. The bin is empty but it thinks it is full. I know this might have to do with sensor but please make an override button to solve the problem in app.

The App Does Not Work

In short, the app doesn’t even allow me to sign up via any option available. It is impossible to create an account and therefore use the app as a monitor for device usage. The Neakasa litter machine is superior to every other option out there including Litter Robots, but the app is a complete failure.

App sends spam notifications

If you want to get notifications about the litter box, you better be happy getting spam as well, it’s forced on you. No way to turn off spam notifications without turning off all notifications. Trashy business practice for sure.

Add Just doesn’t work

Recently got a new phone (iPhone 17 pro max) the app will launch. But nothing after that. Keep getting a “request failed” error. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t work. Can’t even reset password or anything
