No updates for strikes
When worker strikes come to be this common, especially in Berlin, the app doesn’t take it into account. It updates delays (usually a few mins before the train is supposed to come-so you can’t really plan for the delay) but doesn’t update when workers strike. For example, if trams and busses are not running, the app says they are. So you get all the way to the station, realize that the tram /train/bus was never coming, and have to figure out options from there. I never can trust this app 100% but there are very little alternatives. Strikes are planned far in advance, and even if the public is aware, the transportation app does not reflect that.
Seniors dreamers
Peace of mind
This year 2026 my husband and I we are preparing a European vacation trip. We were terrified because this is our first time we purchase tickets ahead of the train connections to the countries we are visiting, with the DB navigator app, it was so easy and stress-free. We recommend this app for train ticket purchases we live in the United States. Buying tickets in this app help us build our European itinerary.
