Fails to live up to Lufthansa standards
Lufthansa‘s operation at New York JFK is a disaster dem start to finish. It began with a completely inefficient check-in process that took more than an hour and 20 minutes to drop a bag off, even though I had checked in prior to arrival. And when I arrived at the counter, I encountered rude and completely unhelpful service. Then the airplane was delayed by more than 30 minutes because the crew could not get bags loaded or the plane prepared in time. After the ground crew pulled away from the airplane, my Lufthansa app still indicated that one of my bags had not been loaded, so I approached the counter to ask about the status of the bag and I was rudely dismissed. From the front door to the airplane gate, the whole Lufthansa team seems annoyed they have passengers to deal with. If that’s the problem, I’ll do everything I can to help them avoid it in the future by flying any other airline that’s available.
