Lack of control over Priority
So I’ve had the Linksys app for a while now and the most irritating part of the app is its lack of control over what devices are on which channels. I want several of my heavy use devices on the 5.0 channel but the app won’t allow you to set them on, instead “automatically” assigning them randomly to the 2.4 while devices that are not even on get the 5. It also crashes constantly. My review is if you know anything at all about how a router should be run don’t use this brand. Buy literally about of the others that allow you to actually control what you want.

shockingly bad
It is difficult to believe that a company this established has an app that is this bad. Open the app and it sometimes takes you to a screen without your choice which asks you a question and provide provides no options other than to continue… and that continuance is a dead end. Even when it doesn’t act this strangely, it has a bizarre lack of straightforward pathways to the equipment you are trying to manage.
