Death documents to refund tickets
Do not trust the $5 “can’t-make-it” insurance—misleading and privacy-invasive. I bought their optional $5 insurance because the checkout language made it sound simple: if you can’t attend, you get a refund. When I needed it, the reality was the opposite. They required extensive documentation-pages of legal or medical evidence of DEATH and even pregnancy proof-to consider a claim. That is nothing like the clear, easy protection implied during purchase. The process is designed to wear you down: the refund page is buried under multiple “help” branches, with no direct path from your order. Support might end up insisting the policy is run by a separate provider, but that doesn’t absolve the ticket seller—they promote it, take the money, and funnel you into an invasive process. What they promise: a $5 safety net. What you get: paperwork, privacy intrusion, and a runaround. This experience felt deceptive and far from user-friendly. If a refund requires sensitive documents, that must be stated clearly before payment—not hidden behind fine print and a maze of links. I won’t be using this service again and recommend others skip the “insurance” entirely
