Slovenia Outdoor is an application and a travel guide for Slovenian hiking and biking trails. It was developed in cooperation with the company Monolit d.o.o. and Hiking&biking GIZ association. It is a great tool and meant for everyone who likes to discover new places and enjoy Slovenian beauties.
The guide includes over 350 hiking and biking trails as well as information about special destinations for hikers and bikers that are members of the Slovenian Hiking and Biking association. The guide covers the entire Slovenian territory.
Trails include detailed information such as trail length, duration, description of the trail, picture of the trail blaze, elevation data including elevation profiles and interesting locations or points of interests near the trail. Every trail can be checked based on availability for families and its composition (what percentage of the trail goes through the forest, main roads and side roads).
Some additional app features:
- Display of trails on a detailed topographic map (MonolitMaps developed and maintained by Monolit d.o.o.),
- Flexible search through specialized hiker and biker friendly destinations,
- Offline use for maps and data allowing easier and friendlier use of the application even in the most remote corners of nature.
