By law all eTiMS Invoice generated in Kenya must be marked with QR code. These eTiMS Invoices possess a number of security features and are all uniquely numbered with encrypted data codes. These codes are linked to a track & trace system holding information for each invoices individually.

The Kenya Revenue Authority is providing this free app to allow the public to check their eTiMS Invoice document. The check is detecting the security features of theeTiMS Invoice QR code to determine if it is an authentic Invoice. Immediate result of authenticity is given and on Invoice additionally information specific to the Invoice scanned is retrieved from the eTiMS System.
