Already an Xcel Energy customer but don’t have an online account yet?
You’ll need to complete a quick, one-time registration to link your preferred email address with your account.
To get started, have the following ready:
• Your account number
• Your last name or company name from your bill
• The ZIP code from your bill
Then, open the app and tap “Sign In or Register”, followed by “Register”.
Enter your email address — this will become your new login ID.

Can’t Sign In
I was able to use the app, but for the last month or so I haven’t been able to even sign in, I get a error message that it’s something wrong with the server and that I need to contact the system administrator. I’ve even uninstalled the app twice and put it back on my phone. The mobile app clearly no longer works. I’ve noticed several others complaining of the same known issue. I wish there was a way to give ZERO stars.

Unusable
Old app worked. Ive never even been able to log with the new one. There are many, many similar reviews reporting that users can't log in or register. This surely represents thousands of other users who have the same problem but haven't reported it. 90% sure these issues are due to Xcel monetizing user data via third parties which is blocked by networks and devices with more secure settings. Xcel is an extremely profitable company with only it income from providing electric and gas service. There is no excuse for not having usable account management in 2025!!

The updates are getting very annoying every single time I use the app it has to be updated and that’s more than once a month what is going on why is this app continuously being played with
