About Bitkey - Bitcoin Wallet
Control
If you hold bitcoin with an exchange, you don’t control it. With Bitkey, you hold the private keys and control your money.
Security
Bitkey is a 2-of-3 multi-signature wallet which means there are three private keys protecting your bitcoin. You always need two out of three keys to sign a transaction, giving you extra protection.
Recovery
Bitkey recovery tools help you recover your bitcoin if you lose your phone, hardware, or both, without needing a seed phrase.
Manage
Use the app to send, receive, and transfer bitcoin safely on the go. For added protection, you can set a daily spending limit on your phone.

Hardware Failed AVOID!
The hardware failed. Support was useless. Would have been better off using anything but Bitkey. If you want to protect your crypto assets, AVOID Bitkey.

Does what they advertise
I bought a Bitkey even though I own more than one Coldcard hardware wallet — which I still consider the best possible choice for a serious Bitcoiner. I was seeking an alternate system for my wife to more easily access bitcoin she has purchased on her own. I want her to keep full independence but she is challenged by using a Mk 4 Coldcard and Sparrow where you do a lot of microSD card inserting and the steps are very specific. It is still the gold standard, I believe, so I thought to cure the problem with a Coldcard Q. It's a huge improvement over the Mk 4 but is still challenging for her, so… What I am now doing is moving her BTC from an exchange after she buys it into a Coldcard Q wallet with her name on it. Then I send funds to her Bitkey, which she can subsequently spend far more easily using her Strike account. IMHO, this is the best combo I've found to make life easy for her and yet keep cold storage security. Thanks, Bitkey! I am keeping the one I bought to learn and test and because I like using it and I want to stay informed, but I happily bought another one for her.
