Be careful booking on App
App has been fine for flying. But I would book online vs the app. I swear I picked the correct flight but right after rebooking, it showed a different time. I called immediately but still had to pay an additional 23 euro fee even though I paid the 70 euro change fee 10 minutes ago. Because of hitting the wrong button in the app and trying to change it 5 minutes later? Lame policy to charge a customer at all within 10 minutes of a UI mistake.

my last name has 2 letters, the app cannot take it when adding a trip. but web site works fine

Price gouging
Checked in before the flight and were assigned seats, both right next to one another, only to find out the Athens airport wouldn’t allow access through the boarding and security area without check in wth the attendant. The app does not communicate with united to check in online, therefore it is useless. You’re required to go to the desk to check in, and wait in line for no reason, where they charge you 6 euro a seat for seats that were already assigned. Typical airline price gouging that tries to separate families from sitting together so they can make extra money.

Editing is impossible
I mistakenly said we were checking 2 bags instead of 1. The app doesn’t allow, or at least doesn’t help make changes. After trying multiple times to edit the number of bags, I ended up paying an additional €26. What a scam!
