Good but could be better!
I have been using the WattCycle app with a 12V 100Ah Smart Mini Battery for about 2 months in a small camper. The battery and app have performed well in a low load (~0-10Amp) environment. There are 2 annoyances I will like to see addressed: 1. When connecting to a battery with Discharge disabled, Discharge is ENABLED automatically. 2. Remove the selection confirmation screen when selected the battery / device to connect to. This is an unnecessary step.

Terrible
This app is awful! I don't understand how someone can release an app that doesn't work and with zero help on operation. It was like pulling glass out of my eye to figure out how to connect to my battery. Now, the discharge is what I think always on! I can't tell because there are NO instructions. I'm assuming that light blue is off but you know what happens when you ASSume! Even when I get it to turn to light blue, the next time I open it. It's dark blue again. Google search said to update the app but..... there are no updates. This is insanity. I wouldn't suggest this battery at all! Don't get one with the "smart" on it because it's definitely NOT!

Works on all 3 mini’s
If You click on the voltage of the battery then it shows the cell voltage independent of each other. 4 voltages for 4 cells. Just clicked on the 13.5v next to the temp and it came up with all 4 cells voltages. I run mine in series and have had zero problems on the trolling motor for a year now. They have lasted an entire month without needing to charge them. Unheard of with lead-acid. And since I got them in January I beat the price increase. So at $130 for 100ah I am happy. App could be better but not the worst. If I never found the cell voltage by tapping the volts icon I would have been disappointed.

Needs a lot of work
It’s really a pain to use. Doesn’t reliability connect, need to be virtually standing over the battery before the app can see it. Sometimes connects and shows zero for every parameter. With two batteries in parallel sometimes shows identical data for both batteries including cell voltages. Means it’s showing data from the same battery no matter which one is selected. Not much usable info although the new update does add the ability to set parameters if you’re brave enough. Asks for Bluetooth permission every time. Does not allowed you to see both batteries on the same screen. I could go on…

Parallel Mode not fixed
Bought my 100Ah mini BT battery about a month ago and have had no issues. My intention from the beginning was to to load 2 100Ah mini BT batteries in my trailer. After reports of parallel charging and discharge issues, I wasn’t too sure. However WattCycle claimed that they released this new app to correct the issue. It’s not corrected at all. At charging, my second battery went into over voltage proctor mode (pack OVP). The battery was at 100% yet kept charging then shut down. Then when discharging, only one battery at a time will discharge. Apparently you have to draw over 50A in order to have both batteries share the load. What??? Frustrated and feeling like I’m out of $400!

He exact match mode won’t turn on. Only the compatibility mode turns on.

Persistent Bluetooth Permission Popup on iOS 18.5
Hi, I’m using WattCycle on iOS 18.5 and keep getting prompted to allow Bluetooth every time I launch the app — even though permission is already granted in Settings. I’ve tried reinstalling the app and rebooting my phone, but the issue persists. Can you confirm if this is a known bug or if there’s a fix?

Lacking almost everything
This app has a lot to be desired compared to other battery monitoring apps. It doesn’t show amps and volts when charging and discharging. You can’t view multiple batteries at the same time. It basically gives you state of charge. The manual listed is for the meta data app and not the new app. The meta data app won’t connect. Thete is no explanation for the charging/discharging switches in the app. And it only allows you to use their software when there are much better apps out there. I think their batteries are great. Probably the best value out there but the Bluetooth app is terrible. You’re much better off buying a non BT battery and using a smart shunt to monitor your system. The coustomer service is also pretty non existent unless you like dealing with AI.

Doesn’t show correct information
Application shows 13.6v when battery charger is at end of charge. Voltage meter measures 14.6 which would make sense why charging stopped. Please fix application as BMS Meta won’t connect to this WattCycle battery so my smart battery isn’t any different than non-Bluetooth enabled.
