Good to have a reddit alternative, has it's own issues but isn't as bad, will be solid once it's public and ready, isn't ready now at all lol I prefer lemmy/piefed and their many apps, federation is the way to go, tired of corporations controllng what we say, plus its more developed and has custom communities for different topics, that is a weird thing to omit
