I ended buying the PRO version for a dollar because it was super convenient to see the full date on my lock screen

Perfect Lock screen Date widget
The creator of this app has created a few other apps that i use daily! Always thinking about what the user needs and as a result has made things easier for me in my daily life. DateSmith is fantastic! It delivers exactly as promised; a clean, customizable date display right above my iPhone’s lock screen clock. Setup was very simple (and explained!) I love the countdown mode for tracking events like the next upcoming birthday or when an important bill is due. The variety of date formats lets me make it my own. I Highly recommend for anyone wanting a simple, date/countdown widget that just works as intended. Oh i almost forgot about the home screen widget feature, so useful!
