About Paaz
Key Features:
Flexible Scheduling System: Create sophisticated blocking schedules that adapt to your life. Set up recurring weekly patterns for work or study, configure blocks for specific date ranges like exam weeks, or activate instant focus timers. Run multiple concurrent sessions when different app groups need different configurations, with intelligent conflict resolution ensuring your priorities are maintained.
App Usage Budgets: Add a Hall Pass to your schedules and ease into healthier habits with usage budgets before blocking kicks in. Allow yourself 10 minutes of social media during evening blocks; if you stay within budget, apps never get blocked. This gradual approach helps you build sustainable digital habits without the overwhelming feeling of immediate restriction.
Blocking Modes and Web Control: Whether blocking only selected distracting apps while keeping everything else accessible, or blocking everything except your specified essentials, you can also manage Safari browsing by adding adult domain filtering, or blocking all web access during focus sessions, if needed. With support for concurrent sessions, app and web domain restrictions work systemwide, ensuring comprehensive focus protection with nuanced control over different app categories.
Screen Time Analytics: Track your progress with clean, meaningful insights. View daily and weekly reports showing screen time patterns and blocking effectiveness without overwhelming charts or manipulative metrics designed to keep you engaged. Simple data that helps you understand your habits and celebrate improvements.
Privacy First Design: Your digital habits are yours alone. Paaz never accesses, stores, or analyzes your app usage data; everything stays private through Apple's Screen Time framework. No accounts, no data collection, no judgment: just a tool that respects your privacy while helping you focus.
Intentionally Minimal: No social features, no leaderboards, no gamification. Paaz refuses to become another app competing for your attention. Configure your schedules and let it work silently in the background, intervening only when you've asked it to. This is screen time management that gets out of your way.

Finally a non-distracting focus app
I use a planning system based on Atomic Habits and Stephen Guise’s Mini Habits, and this app fits perfectly into that mindset. What I really like about Paaz is how minimal and calm it is. Unlike many productivity apps that end up being distracting themselves, this one actually stays out of the way while still giving me everything I need. I use it daily to track my screen time, see which apps I’ve spent time on, and get a clear sense of how focused or productive my day was through the reports. One feature I especially appreciate is the ability to set an allowance before limits kick in, which makes the system feel flexible instead of restrictive. I also like that I can define my own breaks or pause limits for up to an hour when needed. Overall, it feels thoughtfully designed, practical, and genuinely helpful for building better habits without guilt or pressure.

Slick and user friendly
I have used various screen blockers, most of them had UX issues and clunky features. This one so far has been much better than the others. It has a slick design, great features and doesn’t bother you with nonsense ads or unnecessary content. Highly recommended.
