Garbage app
Tried to check in for a flight and the app wasn’t able to pull it up. Had to use a desktop browser to pull up my flight at the WestJet website. For prior flights, I used the app to verify my documents but still had to do it again at the gate. What’s the point of this useless app?

Great for me in Feb 2026
App is apparently updated as of February 2026 and I haven’t had any problems whatsoever on the ground or in the air. Rewards members get free wi-fi and it’s fast enough to stream Netflix. I just nerded out and stared at the map screens the whole time as it’s quite entertaining along with the flight info screens. It’s also nice to stream podcasts and text with my kids on the ground to kill some time while flying. Wife also downloaded it at the airport and had the same experience. I say give it a chance!
