Horrible Bluetooth Support

The idea behind this product is good but the execution falls far short. I have had the battery monitor for almost two years and I'm on my second unit after exchanging the first. They both have the same problem: horrible Bluetooth support. If the Bluetooth connection fails or gets disconnected, there is no way of reconnecting without re-pairing the device. The problem is in order to re-pair the device you have to physically disconnect the battery monitor from power (there is no reset button on it) - this can be a real pain especially if the batteries are in a hard to reach spot. This is the only Bluetooth device I have used where I have had to memorize the pairing code. Further the Bluetooth signal does not work great through a metal trailer (no surprise there) - more than 10 feet away and you're lucky to get any signal. Bottom line - a physically wired battery monitor may be more difficult to install but is much more reliable.
