Yovie & Nuno is an Indonesian band formed in Bandung, West Java, fronted by Yovie Widianto, Dudi Oris, Gail, Ersta, and Rere in their initial formation by carrying the name Yovie & The Nuno in March 2004 (formerly Yovie & Nuno) . At the end of 2007, with the resignation of Gail, Ersta, and Rere, there was a change of name back to Yovie & Nuno, as well as the addition of Dikta vocalist and guitarist Diat.
In the 2009 AMI Awards, Yovie & Nuno was nominated for 6 categories, including the best album, best record producer, best album of the best and best production work of the best
Ovie & Nuno was formed on May 29, 2001 in Bandung with members Dudi Oris (Vocal), Yovie Widianto (Keyboard) who were the founders of the band's music group, Diat (Guitar), Yuke Sampurna (Bass), Rere (Drums). They soon began recording immediately for their first album. And finally their first album was released named All the Stars at the end of 2001. On this album they collaborated with Fariz RM, Audy Item, Glenn Fredly, Andy / rif, Nina Tamam and Harry from members of the band R4. After finishing recording the first album, in 2002, Yuke Sampurna as a bassist decided to resign and then finally joined Dewa 19 in 2002.
