About Sholawat Habib Syech

Habib Syech's prayer song is indeed quite unique. With the re-arrangement of the sholawat book containing about 500 san poems, Habib Syech was able to arrange the sholawat song beautifully and in accordance with the expectations of pilgrims.

In the prayer song Habib Syech itself is not merely Arabic. In fact, there are some songs that speak Indonesian and especially Javanese. With the variation of these languages, Habib Syech's prayer becomes more striking and the message that is present in the blessings can be conveyed.

Habib Syech's sholawat songs are popular with not only the upper classes, but also the lower classes from students to officials. Especially when sholawat is imbued with Javanese variations, the community is very happy and feels more Javanese.

If you pay close attention to Habib Syech's music, there are two kinds of competing things that are often heard, namely Habib Syech's music which is pure tambourine, with Habib Syech's music that uses modern music instruments such as keyboards etc.

There is a difference in the use of music in the chanting of Habib Syech. Tambourine musical instrument models are more used when performing live on stage. Vice versa, if in the cassette or VCD, both are used, namely a combination of tambourines and modern music instruments.

So, try to enjoy a slick blend of tambourine music instruments with modern music instruments. The combination of music is more slick when added the voice of the typical cirri vocal Habib Syech and backing vocals from Ahbabul Musthofa.

In 2014, the RPM label presented a special ramadhan album "The Best Sholawat" which contained the popular Habib Syech sholawat songs sung at concerts and performances in various cities, which contained 9 selected songs in digital and physical form released in Volume 1, 2, 3, 4. The album is considered special because it is the best prayer album by Habib Syech.

In 2015, the sholawat album "Untaian Nada Rindu Al Musthofa" was released, the album containing 6 songs with the main song "How Beautiful / Ya Rasulallah" the song was re-made from the Malaysian nasyid group Raihan.
