Padi Reborn or its original name Padi is a music group from Indonesia whose members consist of Ari Tri Sosianto (guitar, musical effects), Andi Fadly Arifuddin (vocal, guitar), Surendro Prasetyo (drums), Rindra Risyanto Noor (bass), and Satriyo Yudi Wahono or Piyu (guitar, vocals). This band debuted in the Indonesian music scene in the late 1990s through the single Sobat on the indie ten compilation album. .
The main motor of this group is Piyu, who performs the central function as a composer of music and lyrics for most of the songs. But Padi's main strength lies in the mastery of the instruments of its personnel who have character. After being in a vacuum, Piyu chose to develop his own creativity, while other personnel formed Musikimia who went through the music process independently.
