About Arnold's American Diner

What is a Diner? The literal translation is "little dinner", but there is much more. The first Diner was born in 1872, when Walter Scott began selling food on a horse-drawn cart to employees of the Providence Journal, Rhode Island. His business was successful and he soon replaced the wagon with a specially modified railway carriage. Many copied the idea after him and the railway carriage became the icon from which the unmistakable aesthetic of American diners will evolve.

Diners have been present throughout the United States for generations and the most famous are located along the legendary Route 66. They have always been a reference point for the many travelers who stop for a breakfast or a hot meal before resuming their journey. The very informal style and freshly prepared "home" cuisine make the experience of a meal in a diner something genuine and welcoming.

The typical specialties of a diner are hamburgers, sandwiches, eggs, grilled beef, pork, lamb, shrimp, cod, sausages, chicken, fries and appetizers of all kinds. But there is no shortage of typical sweets such as cheesecakes, waffles, pancakes, donuts ...

We at Arnold's have chosen to reproduce the American cuisine, spirit, music and atmosphere with products of the highest quality, in a space created to excite you and relive the charm of the unrepeatable 50s for at least one day.
