A simple engineering calculator of linear and angular speeds, which will allow you to find the shaft speed, shaft radius, committed number of revolutions and centripetal acceleration.
Operating procedure:
1. Select in the drop-down menu what you want to find (linear speed, angular velocity or radius of the shaft)
2. Fill in the appropriate values below as shown in the figure.
3. Press the button “Calculation”
All required values will be calculated under the button “Calculation”.
According to the result of the calculation, you will know the following values:
- linear speed (m / s and km / h)
- angular velocity (rad / s)
- shaft radius (mm, cm and m)
- the number of shaft revolutions for a certain time (per second and per minute)
- time of one revolution (in seconds and minutes)
- centripetal shaft acceleration (m / s2)
For reference:
- 1 radian = 57.2958 degrees
- 3.14 radians (PI number) = 180 degrees - half circle
- 6.28 radians (2 * PI) = 360 degrees - a whole circle
