If you are going to make a metal staircase on a bowstring with a platform, but you are not a designer to calculate the desired angle, step height or step length - this calculator will ideally help you.
The calculator has 5 calculation methods, it can calculate everything by itself, you only need to carefully enter all the dimension values.
Operating procedure:
1.) Select a calculation method (5 options)
a. Choose the height and length of the step
b. Choose the height, knowing the length of the step
c. Choose the length, knowing the height of the step
d. Set the angle of inclination of the stairs (through the angle of inclination, the height and length of the step are selected based on the convenience formula)
e. Set the length and height of the step (in this embodiment, errors are possible due to the rigid reference to the length and height of the step)
2.) Set the required geometric dimensions (for convenience, check the "Show section" or "Show plan" checkboxes)
a. Height H - height from the clean floor of the first floor to the clean floor of the second floor
b. Distance L1 - the distance beyond which the ladder should not go
c. Width B - march width along the outer edges of the bowstring profile
3.) Press the button “Calculation”
The result will be a table with the calculated values of the stairs (step height, step length, number of steps on the 1st march, number of steps on the 2nd march, number of steps in total, the angle of the staircase in degrees).
Also, for preview, a sketch of the stairs will be drawn under the table so that you can see how your stairs will look.
After everything suits you, you can proceed to the design of the stairs. To do this, fill in the following data:
1.) Select the section of the site (profile pipe 40x40, 50x50, 60x60, 80x80 and 100x100)
2.) Set the height and width of the bowstring profile
3.) Set the thickness of the step (on the site and on the stairs)
4.) Set the indentation of the staircase metal structures from the walls (if necessary)
To get the drawings - click "Make a drawing" and select the view that you need (plan or section). Wait a couple of seconds for the file to download.
The result will be a pdf document with a finished drawing of the stairs.
