ShapeSurf - Shape Properties Calculator

The app calculates the Geometric Properties of various kinds of plane sections without having to carry a printed book.

You can use this app for:
• engineering analysis and design
• stress analysis
• to calculate the natural frequencies and mode shapes of a machine element
• students

The app has an intentionally simple interface and the typical sections you would find in a reference book.

As a result the app gives the geometric properties of a bidimensional shape:

• Area: the total area of the shape;
• Centroid or geometric center: X and Y position; the average arithmetic mean of all the points in the shape
• Moment of inertia about X and Y axis
• Inferior and superior section modulus, also called moment of resistance.

Most noteworthy the user can export the output with a csv file attachment.
