Worthless App
Complete waste of time installing this app. It’s just as bad as the website and has zero ability to view and manage your account. Going back to waiting on a 7 hour callback from the ‘help’ line.
No one picks up their phone
My wife is 13 weeks pregnant and classified as a high risk pregnancy so it is imperative she gets seen by a provider. The way it’s looking I’ll probably have an at home birth by the time Champ VA gets back to us. 40 min of waiting on the phone and the only way I might get in touch with someone is by putting in I am a healthcare provider just for the system to give me a call back. I called at 10:20 EST it’s now 11:00 and I’m leaving this review. I will update this review to find out who I can leave a complaint with to get this fixed.
Is the logo supposed to be my hand coming out of my coffin while still trying to find support?
Is the app logo supposed to be my hand coming out of my coffin while still on hold with CHAMPVA?! The app is useless. Information is incorrect and not accurate. There is no way to get help or support. Don’t waste your time.
Phone services
I have been working on champ VA services for over a year and have never been able to get through on the phone without waiting seven or eight hours for a return call. My problems with my account requires that I speak with someone and I find that almost debilitating when we can’t get through to anyone or go online to see what is going on with my account. If we can’t have access to a service representative in a reasonable time, can we at least have access to our account so we can correct errors that are on the system. My hands are tied. I have a claim that hasn’t been paid from last December after various attempts billing. I find that somebody had in the system that I had another insurance that I did not have. I can’t fix it and I can’t get a hold of anybody to fix it. My complaint.
Please advise, better yet, give us access.

This app is a complete disaster. The few features it has don’t work—ever. Trying to find a provider is a joke; the search is broken, and the results are outdated or nonexistent. Don’t even bother trying to get up-to-date info. It’s always outdated or flat-out wrong. Every time I’ve tried to use it, it’s just been an endless loop of frustration. Typical VA garbage that’s half-baked and full of bugs. This app is a waste of space—fix it, or just scrap it entirely.

Need to verify active coverage for a dependent. There is no portal and no one available to answer the phones.
Don’t download Not Worth it
This is a waste of time. It doesn’t allow you to check status, submit claims or anything related to your medical benefits. It’s very generalized and everything on this app you can google for yourself. I honestly don’t even believe it a legitimate app created by the government so don’t waste your time.
Not what we need
We need an app where we can view status of claims like other health insurance companies. We used to have this but no longer.

I wish that I could say that this was a great design. However, it’s absolutely horrible. It seems like they didn’t know what they were doing, or they just whipped it up real quick. There is no search bar at all when you’re trying to find the Provider. I don’t even think it gives the right referrals or maybe it’s Missing.
I wonder how much money of our tax period dollars they spent? I bet you it was a lot and it’s a shame shame on these people.
