About AutopilotVRU
AutopilotVRU app is an application for the AUTOPILOT pedestrian users.
The app continuously uses pedestrian’s location and sends data to a cloud server. The cloud server collects and manipulates data and provides appropriate notifications to the pedestrian when an AUTOPILOT vehicle or an AUTOPILOT bicycle comes into collision with the pedestrian.
Both AUTOPILOT vehicle and AUTOPILOT bicycle also sends location data to the same cloud server. AutopilotVRU app warns user when an AUTOPILOT vehicle or an AUTOPILOT bicycle is coming into collision with the AUTOPILOT pedestrian.
The AUTOPILOT pedestrian may have additional safety using this app to avoid accidents.
AutopilotVRU app is developing for the purposes of AUTOPILOT European research project (Grant Agreement No 731993).
