No way to change location
This app will only work at the location where you first register it. If you are traveling and expect to use it at a different facility that limits payments to Laundry Cat, you are out of luck and have no way to pay. You have to EMAIL ‘support’ because ‘customer service’ won’t help you. After you wait for an indeterminate amount of time, they will eventually assist to fix the location problem. But, when you are traveling, that really interferes with your day. TAKE AWAY THE LOCATION RESTRICTION!!! ****UPDATE**** Received a response from laundry cat on Jan 21, 2026. They merely stated that accounts are restricted to a single location., which we already knew. Apparently they have no intent to improve this shortcoming. So, beware of carrying a balance on your account. You won’t be able to use that balance at the next laundry, even though they use laundry cat. A sad and unnecessary limitation to what might otherwise be a great service.
