My Club Med

Expected better service

For a Club Med, I was expecting a better service. At the airport, we had to carry our luggage and walk out to find the driver when I would have expected him to wait inside to greet us and help us with luggage. We get to the club and get assigned the very last room in Aguamarina, room 340, where we could hear construction work from outside the resort. I asked for a different room, they said they would get back to us but we were completely ignored. As it turned out, that room was given to another family the day before we arrived but they complained as well and were swapped with us, knowing we reserved 6 months in advance!!! As to the food, it was average compared to other club meds, and the main restaurant is so noisy it feels like a school cafeteria, waiters were rude and clearly not happy doing their job. At the bar, the drinks had barely any alcohol in them. At the main beach area, you need to get there before 9 am or you would not find a chair to sit on, we had to put the towels on the sand and sit, and this is when you can get towels as those too are sometimes not available for 30 minutes! The good things about the club are the location, the beach and the clear water, the club for kids, the activities, and the GO team who were entertaining us every night. Overall, I would not go back to this one.

Amazing place. Love everything about it. Best beach on Grace Bay. Food,drinks and service are outstanding. Great Massage by Roxanne was 5 star. Pool exercise by Etienne was great. Comfortable bed, clean room, housekeeping was outstanding. They have beverage service to the pool and beach now! Can’t wait to come back. The GOs are so friendly and fun The trapeze artists were fabulous!
