Rain skip long broken
I’ve had the device and app for 9 years. Rain skip was reliable for the first few years, then stopped. It worked again for a while after contacting customer service a few times. Over the last 5 years or so, rain skip has triggered, at most, 2 or 3 times, despite trying out multiple different weather stations. Sprinklers continue to run even during protracted, epochal rain storms covering the entire geographic region, where it would be easy for developers to say, “gee there’s been massive flooding throughout this county, maybe we should look to see if Rachio is sending out rain skips?”

Great app
Fantastic app (and required controller). Supports our cities fixed watering schedules of specific days and times for watering per season. Supports automatic changes to watering needs based on local weather changes (heat or cool shifts, rain or freeze). Excellent professional and free customer support.
