One of the greatest sins in our religion is associating partners with God. The Holy Qur'an states: "Allah does not forgive those who associate partners with Him, and He forgives whom He wills." Imam Abu Hanifa's book, The Testament, states: If Allah takes them into His mercy and forgives them, it is the will of Allah Almighty.
From the great scholars: "What is the great sin?" When asked, he replied, "It is a sin that requires repentance." It means praying and repenting for the forgiveness of one's sins.
Major sins are those in which the Qur'an promises to be hell, the hadiths of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) are cursed, and the torment of hell is announced. The next are minor sins. The Qur'an says about them: They will beware of major sins and hooliganism. ” Allah Almighty certainly forgives minor sins. Our daily prayers and good deeds will lead to the forgiveness of those sins.
The fact that a person prays the first prayer and falls in love with the next prayer, as well as the desire to go from Friday prayer to the next Friday prayer, are acts of forgiveness for sins committed during that period. If a person commits adultery or lies, steals and drinks alcohol, and then thinks, "I have prayed and my sins have been forgiven," he is mistaken. Minor sins include sins that can be forgiven through prayer.
We cannot say that a person who dies without repenting of a great sin will go to hell with strong faith. If God, the Most Merciful, wants to forgive a person, He will forgive his great sins. Man will be tormented in hell for his great sins, and if he has faith in his heart, he will be taken out of hell in time and admitted to paradise.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stated in his moral precepts that if a person does not repent in this world while associating partners with Allaah, then he will remain in Hell forever. Almighty Allah also warns in the Qur'an: "Paradise is forbidden for one who associates partners with Allah."
