Sacrifice -

An animal for the cause of God. The tradition of sacrificing animals dates back to the history of Islam in connection with the Prophet Ibrahim, who wanted to sacrifice his son Ishmael for the sake of God. Three types of animals can be sacrificed during Kurban Ait: camels, cows, sheep or goats. Birds are not allowed to be slaughtered, and horses are considered war vehicles on the path of Imam Aqzam and are not sacrificed. One-year-old sheep and goats, five-year-old camels, two-year-old cows and two-year-old bulls are sacrificed. They must be in good health. One third of the sacrificial meat is left to the family, the other half to the poor, and the third to the poor.
Special actions for the sake of God, as well as for the protection of the country, the land and the Motherland.
Kurban (Arabic: - "approach"), a term in the Shari'a, is the name of a special animal that is sacrificed on the days of Kurban Ait with the intention of approaching the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Benefits and Wisdom of Sacrifice.

Obedience to the commands of Allah Almighty will always bring you closer to His pleasure and reward in the Hereafter. Since sacrifice is also a special command of Allah Almighty, it is certain that the one who willingly fulfills this command will be pleasing to his Lord, and his face will be bright and rewarding in this world. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explained this fact in a hadeeth:
On the Day of Judgment, the slaughtered animals will come with their horns, hooves and feathers. As the shed blood drips to the ground, it reaches a high position in the hands of Allah Almighty. So offer your sacrifices with thanksgiving. ”
